Best Neighborhoods in Twin Falls for Active Lifestyles:

Settler's Ridge

One of the best neighborhoods in Twin Falls on the west side of town is Settler’s Ridge. This area boasts a delightful blend of homes, from charming residences built in the early 2000s to modern abodes from the late 2010s. What makes this neighborhood truly special is its close proximity to the Canyon Rim Trail—ideal for an evening walk after work or a leisurely bike ride with the family.

The trail conveniently leads to some of the most popular local restaurants, making it easy to enjoy a meal out. Plus, you’ll find Northern Ridge Park here, a sprawling green space perfect for various activities, including sports games, picnics, birthday parties, and an amazing playground for kids. This subdivision is hands down one of my favorites in Twin Falls!

Sunterra

Sunterra is another fantastic neighborhood in Twin Falls, offering a wonderful mix of homes from the early 2000s to brand-new constructions. With its beautiful homes, wide streets, and friendly neighbors, Sunterra is an inviting place to live.

One of the highlights of this neighborhood is its proximity to First Federal Bank Park, located at the Sunway Soccer Complex. This park, beloved by local kids, features unique playground equipment and a refreshing water attraction. Donated by First Federal Bank in 2015, the park includes an all-inclusive playground and Twin Falls’ first splash pad, with the recent addition of the St. Luke’s Pavilion providing much-needed shade. The park is open year-round, and the splash pad operates from Memorial Day weekend through September.

Additionally, a farmers market within biking distance makes Sunterra an even more appealing place to call home.

Morning Sun

Nestled in the eastern portion of Twin Falls, the sought-after Morning Sun neighborhood is a gem that continues to grow and flourish. With homes dating back to the early 2000s and a new phase underway, this expansive subdivision offers a perfect haven for active families. The community boasts an elementary school, two parks within walking distance, and an extensive network of walking trails. Its prime location near the Snake River Walking Trail, which begins at Shoshone Falls and ends at Elevation 486 Restaurant, provides easy access to shopping, dining, churches, and schools. The vibrant community spirit is evident year-round, with residents enjoying the sidewalks and trails, while the park at Meadowview and Stadium serves as a beloved gathering spot. Morning Sun is more than just a neighborhood; it’s a peaceful and welcoming community that truly feels like home.

The Preserve

Covering over 300 acres, The Preserve is an expansive multi-phase project set to become Twin Falls’ premier single-family community, featuring more than 630 lots. This community is rich in amenities, offering a pool, community center, fitness center, playground, and pickleball court.
