Twin Falls serves as the central community for the seven-county region of south-central Idaho, known as the Magic Valley. Location Of Twin Falls

Located a little over 120 miles south-east of Boise, with the Sawtooth Mountains to the north, Nevada to the south, and four seasons, residents can experience outdoor activity any time of the year including: boating, kayaking, camping, fishing, hiking, golfing, rafting, base jumping, nordic and alpine skiing, and so much more!

Average home pricing and competition tends to be the highest in Twin Falls.

Reason 2

The towns grown too much. If you’re looking for a traditional small town, Twin Falls may be a bit too large.

It’s super windy. I don’t know exactly why, but in the spring and fall it is extremely windy.

Reason 4

Traffic can be a bit of a nightmare compared to some of the surrounding towns.

Twin Falls is an agricultural community. You will find homes in more residential-type neighborhoods on about an acre, or you can find properties in the middle of the country away from neighbors.

As the city has grown we are seeing more town homes, condos, and duplexes being built in the area. While these are less common, you will still find them in the area.

Places Of Interest

Whether you’re looking for a great restaurant, a fun activity, or an outdoor activity, there are many things to enjoy here!

Main Avenue in downtown is where you’ll find the best locally-owned restaurants, stores, breweries, theatres, and more. Learn more about what’s going on here.

Located in a historic 1926 former machining, blacksmith, boilermaker, welding, and hardware building, 2nd South Market brings a unique dining experience to the area and Idaho as the state’s first food hall. There are seven different vendors under one roof, learn more here.

Often referred to as the Niagara of the West, Shoshone Falls is a must-see attraction.  At 212 feet tall and 900 feet wide, Shoshone Falls is one of the largest natural waterfalls in the United States surpassing the height of the famous Niagara Falls. Learn more here.
